BRINGING LA IZQUIERDA RECORDS TO THE ONLINE WORLD

CONTENT CREATION AND SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN

La Izquierda Records was launched as an extension of the Galveston music festival, La Izquierda Fesival, requiring a thoughtful social media strategy to introduce the label, its mission, and its artists while maintaining strong ties to the local music community. The objective was not only to announce the label, but to position it as an authentic platform rooted in Galveston’s creative culture.

I developed a comprehensive social media planner built around clear content pillars, including community engagement, the record label launch, artist features, and broader conversations around the Galveston music scene. In addition to strategy, I led content creation, producing short-form videos that highlighted Robert Kuhn’s involvement in the local music community and the historical context behind the label. These pieces helped connect the past and present—using storytelling to establish credibility, build anticipation, and foster a sense of belonging around the new label.
